Information is provided to schools, public agencies and individuals on the various aspects of Assistive Technology (access to employment, education, textbook initiatives, and state and local statutes concerning assistive technology standards). Can be accessed through the Internet and by phone.
Assistive Technology Demonstration Center: Features a variety of assistive technology such as; bathing and grooming equipment, blind or low vision equipment, computer access equipment, daily living equipment, deaf or hard of hearing equipment, leisure equipment and mobility equipment, that people can sample before deciding whether or not to purchase.
Provides information about devices and equipment that could allow people with disabilities to live more easily and independently at home, school, or work.
Provides assistive technology and durable medical equipment on display for vision, hearing,communication, cognitive,and mobility disabilities that persons can try before they purchase. Catalogs and videos further describing products are available.
Provides free brochures on general hearing loss, assistive devices and types of surgery.
